If you look up EdTech on Wikipedia, the first line reads:
“Educational technology (commonly abbreviated as EduTech, or EdTech) is the combined use of computer hardware, software, and educational theory and practice to facilitate learning. When referred to with its abbreviation, EdTech, it is often referring to the industry of companies that create educational technology”.
There are a lot of areas in that quote that are constantly developing; for example hardware, ways of learning and education technology are always evolving. Neither education nor technology stands still. As this market has developed it has become more apparent that there is a real need to collaborate with other organisations, drawing on specialist skills and resources to truly offer the most up to date and relevant information and products.
Partnerships have become a key part of our service offering and one of our fastest growing and truly client-led collaborations is with Solutions for Accounting and CRM. We have teamed up with the team at Solutions to help our schools automate and streamline their processes and billing through its unrivalled knowledge of Sage and Furlong’s fee-billing package FeeMaster.
Working together we can offer schools total control over billing and financial administration.
As our Sales and Marketing Manager Jack Broome explains;
“We’ve worked with Solutions for Accounting and CRM on a number of successful projects and when we decided to enhance our knowledge and understanding of Sage by working with a partner specialising in this area, Solutions became an obvious choice, mainly because of our shared ethos and commitment to our clients. We share ambitions to truly make life easier for schools so sharing knowledge and resources in this way enables us to do just that. We believe this type of partnership is the future of EdTech because it gives schools more choice”
With Sean Graham, Operations Director of Solutions for Accounting and CRM adding;
“This is the future of Edtech, Tech and modern life in general. People are used to working with different companies and different apps now. It’s no longer about having one central point of contact, it’s about finding the best solution for your needs”.
With this new partnership Furlong and Solutions for Accounting and CRM can meet the needs of our schools by offering a best-in-breed solution with the highest possible level of customer support and expertise. FeeMaster schools will be able to produce invoices for any aspect of school life, meaning that parents receive the information they need clearly and concisely, in addition to finance staff being able to keep track of who has been billed and for what purpose.
The range of features available through FeeMaster is constantly evolving with product steering groups and sessions with specific sectors informing product development and the growing list of features which includes Direct Debits, Family Invoicing, Fee Payer Rules, Invoicing and Reporting, Manage Payments, Recharges, Recurring Items and Fees, Single Invoice Function and more.
The system is also cloud based which means all your data is accessible online - you can login, edit and action any tasks from anywhere in the world. This has been especially valuable during the rise in remote working last year.
The best way to truly explore FeeMaster and join us and our partners in the cloud is to book a demo with the team. Click here to find a time to talk that works for you.
You can also book to attend our next user group meeting on November 10th where you can see live demos, ask questions and hear more about FeeMaster’s integration with Sage. To book visit: https://ti.to/furlong-training-and-events/finance-user-group-meeting-2021
